Simone Kornfeld, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and co-author of enlightened dating guide Smitten: The Way of the Brilliant Flirt. Simone earned her masters degree in Social Work from New York University, graduating in 2010. Before transitioning into private practice, Simone worked as a psychotherapist treating adults at Blanton Peale Counseling Center. Simone also spent two years working with children, adolescents and families at Post Graduate Center for Mental Health Child Clinic. Her earliest experiences in the field were spent at FEGS in an outpatient and home visiting program serving severely mentally ill adults.
In 2013, Ms. Kornfeld co-authored and published her first book, Smitten: The Way of the Brilliant Flirt. Since then she has appeared as a “flirtation expert” in various media outlets, including CNN, The Daily News, The Huffington Post and The Boston Globe. She has appeared as the flirtation and relationship expert for the popular dating website, How About We. Most recently Ms. Kornfeld has been a contributing writer to popular websites Elite Daily, SheKnows, The Date Report and Self.com. She has been heard on various radio programs such as Hot 97 Street Soldiers, Playboy Radio and Totally Driven on BlogTalk Radio.
